ALCAT / Cell Sciences Lab: Quality You Can Rely On
The Alcat test measures White Blood Cell count. In the lab, your blood is exposed to up to 450 antigens. The technician analyzes your body’s reaction to the antigens assessing severe, moderate, mild or no reaction. Reactions indicate inflammation, which in turn means the immune system has been activated.
This way of testing is proven to be effective. Innovative, holistic, doctors and specialists have been utilizing the Alcat test for over 30 years. Each year, more improvements have been made to provide more advanced and accurate results. Cell Science Systems, Corp. is a specialty clinical laboratory that develops and performs laboratory testing in immunology and cell biology supporting the personalized treatment and prevention of chronic disease. Internationally renowned, the lab is used by 51 different countries and there are offices in 17 countries. It is estimated the Alcat test has helped over ½ million people.
The reason this tests works is because it’s individual to you and the way YOUR blood cells react to food antigens. Double blind and clinical studies have been conducted for many years. Most recently, Yale School of Medicine and the British Medical Journal have published reports. See the Resources below.
THE SPECIFICS
The difference between the Alcat Test and IgG antibody testing: Food and chemical sensitivities are mediated by multiple pathogenic mechanisms. By using the cellular approach, instead of a single antibody such as IgG, the Alcat Test can identify food and chemical sensitivities regardless of the pathway (immunologic, toxic, pharmacologic). Damaged cells release free radicals and inflammatory mediators without antibody involvement.
The majority of studies suggest that food specific IgG antibodies are protective and thereby not pathogenic.
Cell Science Systems, Corp. operates a CLIA certified laboratory and is an FDA inspected and registered, cGMP medical device manufacturer meeting ISO EN13485 2012 standards.
